Kurz made in Argentina

Thanks to Manuel Rubio I have got this translated from an Argentinean website:

In Argentina one assault rifle in this calibre was experienced too. The project which began to develop to CITEFA and Military Manufactures of Argentina, was denominated “C. A. M. 1”. Accompanying the new tendencies arisen after WWII, the Argentinean army tried to modernize their weapon system, at that time, a 7.65 mm Mauser rifle. The factories “FM Domingo Matheu” and “Fray Luis Beltrán” were the ones in charge to develop the prototypes of weapons and the ammunition respectively. The initial lot of cartridges made to test, was of 1,000 units approximately, with three weapons. One of them is today in the Argentine National Museum of Weapons, another is in the Museum of the Argentine Army and the third is into the hands of a private collector. The Argentine cartridge 7.9x33mm Kurzpatrone 43 also was made in inert variants with a perforation in the case or made totally of steel with a perforation in its base. It seems to be that also there was an experimental model with a case of length of 36 mm.
